Nutrition
Eat an organic omnivore diet favoring grass-fed or pasture-raised meats, dairy, fruit, saturated fats, root vegetables and well cooked greens. Drink mineralized purified water. We highly recommend you read and follow the FP Diet and Nutrition guide found here.

Sun and nature

Get adequate amounts of sunlight on your skin and in your eyes during sunrise, midday and sunset (during months of Feb to Oct in Minnesota) to maintain healthy Vitamin D levels. Use the dminder app to understand proper UVA/UVB dosages for you and to track progress. In addition to sunlight, connect your skin directly to the earth, also known as grounding, to recharge your body. For more information on the importance of light and grounding as it pertains to our health, look into Jack Kruse’s educational  material and Carrie B Wellness

Sleep and recovery

Getting proper recovery is key to improving your health and making lasting changes. To help you improve your sleep habits, avoid blue light after sunset, keep track of your sleep and recovery habits with an Oura Ring, and get outside for morning sunshine to promote a healthy circadian rhythm. Use blue light blockers as needed when exposed to blue light especially in the evening. Supplement infrared sauna and redlight therapy especially during winter months.

Managing your stress response and achieving more homeostasis is another key component to optimizing your health and results. We recommend utilizing Heart Math Em Wave as a tool to help you learn how to “meditate” or in other words gain control of your Heart Rate Variability in an fashion that’s objective and measurable.

Tyranny of Words by Stuart Chase

"‘LANGUAGE itself,’ Mr. Chase remarks in a key sentence of his opening chapter, ‘needed to be taken into the laboratory for competent investigation.’ Not alone among contemporary publicists, he finds himself dismayed by the paradox that as the verbal resources of communication multiply and supposedly improve, the efficiency of communication seems to decline."

Why Zebra's Don't Get Ulcers by Robert Sapolsky

"explores the leading causes of stress and how to keep it under control, as well as the biological science behind stress, which can be a catalyst for performance in the short term, but a potential threat in the long run."

Sapiens: A brief History of Humankind by Yuval Noah Harari

"traces the origins, mechanisms, and effects of what we think of as “human progress” from small bands of hunter-gatherers 100,000 years ago to the present-day global network through which our species has come to dominate the entire Earth."
