I came to FP wanting to get back in shape and feel comfortable doing the activities I used to do before having kids, like playing ultimate frisbee and climbing. I was drawn to FP because of the emphasis on correcting posture and addressing dysfunctional patterns of movement. I knew I needed to work on these changes in order to resolve the pain and discomfort I was feeling. I started going to FP in the fall of 2024.
The time I was putting into it was pretty minimal (2x per week for an hour plus a few hours per week of at home MFR/videos for 10 week course). The results were impressive after just a couple months. My back pain and stiffness went from 5-7/10 to 0/10 and the shoulder pain (before 5/10) and tingling was completely gone.
The program is customized to the individual and can help you get fit and overcome pain and discomfort.
I now have less pain, I’m much more comfortable carrying my kids, bending to put on socks/shoes and generally with all activities. I feel more fit and I’m looking forward to being more active as I get stronger."
